Sunday Stash Report: 5/5/19

I spent this week completing April’s clue for the Handy Dandy Scrap quilt. My scrappy sashing did not look good with my busy background and my scrappy blocks. I changed it to this scrappy gold, which works much better. Of course, I don’t count the fabric out until the quilt is finished, but this will help the numbers when I do finish it. So many scraps!

Also this week my mother in law gave me her sewing scraps. After sorting out the blends and corduroy, I was left with about 5.5 yards, mostly red and blue (went to the Quilts of Valor bin!) and two Christmas prints.

This week: + 5.5 yards, – 0 yards

This year: + 45 yards, – 47.25 yards

Net destashed ~~added~~ in 2019: 2.25 yards

I might do the Handy Dandy Mystery Quilt. I like the look. I have to finish a few other projects that seem to always want to stay on my list.
