Evening in the Garden Quilts

Adventures in Fabric Art

WIP Wednesday

Yesterday I put the borders on the Christmas version of Charlotte’s Mystery Quilt.

I was so pleased to be able to use up some very old Jinny Beyer border fabric. Of course, the fabric had alternating stripes, so I have another set to put on a future quilt…

Currently raining here, breaking up a little heat wave and making it much more comfortable for sewing!

Sunday Stash Report: 5/23/21

Since my last report, I’ve made these dozen blocks for Kat’s Covered in Love project. They were perfect, because many of the scraps were still on my cutting table.

  • This week: + 0 yards, – 1.5 yards
  • This year: +34.5 yards, – 55 yards
  • Net fabric destashed/added this year: 20.5 yards

So, not much sewing going on. Kitchen renovation and gardening are taking president.

Enjoy your Spring (or Fall)!
