Sunday Stash Report: 12/19/2021

This week I got off on a side track making coasters from Christmas scraps. I used 1.75 yards to make 16 coasters.

  • This week: + 0 yards, – 1.75 yards
  • This year: +69 yards, – 107.25 yards
  • Net fabric destashed/added this year: 38.25 yards

Creeping up, but there’s not much left of the year. Sometimes I get in a lot of sewing between Christmas and New Year’s, so we’ll see.

Stay safe and sew your stash.

Sunday Stash Report 12/5/2021

Here’s one I haven’t shown you.  It was a custom order that I finished at the beginning of November so that it would get to Canada in a timely way.  And it did. Whew.

It used about 12.5 yards.

The Christmas Star quilt used about 6.5 yards.

  • This week: + 0 yards, – 19 yards
  • This year: +69 yards, – 105.5 yards
  • Net fabric destashed/added this year: 36.5 yards

Will I make it to 50 yards?  Hmmm.

Sew on!

Christmas Stars Quilt

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted!  I had a couple aches and pains that kept me away from the sewing machine for a while.  Then DS and DiL were here for two weeks before Thanksgiving (yay!).  So I finally got back to it this week and wrapped up this fun Christmas project.

The non-traditional fabrics were a departure for me, and I really enjoyed them.  I like how fresh and crinkly this turned out.

I hope you’re finding time to sew or be with family.
