Sunday Stash Report: 5/15/2022

You’re not seeing double- I made another of these pink rainbow baby quilts for my Etsy shop.   And there was the yellow rainbow commission.

  • This week: + 0 yards, – 5.5 yards

  • Net fabric destashed/added this year: 4 yards

Back in the black!  Don’t forget to use your stash!

Another Rainbow Finish

Yesterday I finished this sweet commissioned baby quilt.

This is not my design– we were reproducing Mom’s childhood quilt for the next generation.

The front is a printed gingham from Riley Blake. The back is a light yellow Kona solid.

I did the regular allover cloud quilting.

Hope you’re sewing something fun!

Sunday Stash Report: 4/10/22

This week I used fabric to finish the Roses baby quilt, and better still, the whole top was from scraps.

New fabric arrived, mostly for this week’s new commission.

  • This week: + 4.75 yards, – 3.75 yards
  • This year: + 28.5 yards, – 27 yards
  • Net fabric destashed/added this year: 1.5 yards

I’ll be back in the black soon!

Rainbow Finish

This quilt is finished and has reached it’s new owner.

It’s the fourth one of these rainbows made with 2.5″ straight grain fabric strips. My customer wanted these colors that are so popular now. Great idea!

I did the cloud quilting in the white background again.

And you know what I’m doing with the scraps!
