Design Wall Monday

No new fabric! I used three and a quarter yards to make the last baby quilt.

Keep using your stash!

I made this quilt using some “Remix” lollies fabric by Jen Kingwell for Moda.

I know this isn’t the way most people use a lollie, but I wanted to include the black and white dividing lines and to make the colors very random. The randomness didn’t really work out- there’s a lot of gold in this! I’ll cut it differently when I use the rest.

This is in my Etsy shop.

This week I added eight and a half yards of new fabric to my stash. But, as you can see, it was completely necessary.
This week I used three and a half yards for the Star Wars baby quilt, and donated seven yards.

Use your stash or share it!

Very pleased with how the Star Wars baby quilt came out.
I love the ombre fabric I used for the border, but I wish it were a bit darker/ more distinct in the fade.
The wavy quilting is in rainbow Fantastico from Superior. It really picks up the colors in the fabrics.

This will be in my Etsy shop when the weather improves and I can get some better pictures.
