String Finish

This string quilt is finished! It’s 44″ x 62″.

I quilted it with wavy lines in pale lavender poly thread. I started out to do feathers in a slightly darker variegated thread but it looked terrible, so out it came.

These colors were inspired by this backing fabric in my stash.

As you can see, it’s not only comfortable, but very flattering if you happen to be gray.

(I didn’t call Yuri out for this shoot. He heard me taking photos ??? and came running downstairs and out onto the patio to participate. Dedication!)

We both hope you have some peace, and some time to sew.
