I did well on my September goals.
September Goals:
- Quilt and bind Summer Stars on Fawn Lake. Yes! Here. DH claimed it.
- Piece top for Christmas quilt from truck and tractor panels. Yes!
- Quilt and bind Christmas quilt. Yes! Here.
Bonus: Almost finished with another (blue) Christmas quilt!
October Goals:
- Make a mat for a cart in my kitchen.
- Piece the cardinal panel Christmas quilt.
- Quilt and bind cardinal Christmas quilt.
- Make blocks for a donation quilt (probably log cabins).
You may notice that I’m not doing donation blocks for Kat as I usually do. Her Sept/Oct blocks are fun and easy, but I just don’t have the grown-up novelty scraps to make them. I’ll jump back in later. If you have the scraps, why don’t you make some?
Good luck to you on meeting your goals!

Did you write more about the truck and tractor quilt somewhere? I am wondering if you bought that panel specifically or it was given to you or what the original inspiration was? i only buy panels occasionally, so I cam kind of fascinated to see what people do with them. Let me know.

I don’t know why I got panels in my brain, because I’ve hardly ever bought or used them before. But this summer I bought a bunch (from eQuilter, I think) and challenged myself to make something interesting from them. Here’s a glimpse of them when they arrived. https://eveninginthegarden.wordpress.com/2018/07/01/sunday-stash-report-7-1-18/
Finished up another one that you’ll see this week!
