I’m writing to you on a crisp but sunny morning here.  The birds definitely think it’s spring!  There are a few things to do in the yard, but the ground is very soft, and it’s early yet, so for now I think I’ll…sew!

This week I used another three and a half yards on the Baby Geese 3 quilt, and I didn’t add any fabric.  I see that changing soon.  I’m low on some things, and I just got another commission for an elephant baby quilt (the one with the puffy blue elephants!),  so I’ll need more gray and white fabrics.  Too bad.  😉

This week:  + 0 yards,  – 3.5 yards
This year:  + 26.5 yards,  – 52.75 yards
Net fabric destashed  in 2015:  26.25 yards

Good luck with your destashing!  I’m linking up to Patchwork Times.

  1. Oh– I like pink, black and white together! So crisp and clean. Lovely Baby Quilt!

  2. Great job!

Isn’t there some way to use what you have for the commission? Mix and match backgrounds?

    • Thank you! I do make each of these slightly different, depending on what I have, which is what keeps it fresh. I need fabric for the backing, though, and some solids to have on hand to help me use more stash!

  3. Your pink baby geese quilt is so cute. I liked all 3 of them. Good usage of your stash so far too.
